A little about me

Thank you for visiting my website!

I am Sophia, and I was based in Newton Abbot. I had lived there for over three years with my husband and four children. I have now moved to the city of Exeter. It is a transition that feels exciting and enticing.

I love living in this part of the country; it is so peaceful and naturally beautiful that I find myself loving living so close to a splendid coastline; leaving me feeling radiant and so very grateful.

My Journey

My Counselling journey started over four years ago at South Devon college.  I completed my level 2 on the course and fell right into its trap! I was hooked!

It felt so right for me that three years later I successfully qualified with a Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integative Counselling from Devon Counselling College. I enjoyed every bit of learning I had acquired every step of the way.

I have always had a passion for helping people; and for being a people’s person. I find myself inspired in every aspect of therapy that I’ve embarked upon so far.

I am a registered, fully insured individual member of the BACP and carefully abide by their ethical framework. Further information can be found at www.bacp.co.uk.
